My name is Hot Rod Lincoln and I am often called 'Link' for short - Can you dig it! I am a complete love bug. It’s hard to believe that I am only 7 months old…my mom says I am a lot more mellow than other Golden Puppies…I just like to think I am a “mature” 7 month old! I am getting better on a leash, but need to continue on some training for that..there are just so many wonderful smells outside that I can’t wait to get to the next one. I am also learning about going potty outside, although I haven’t gone inside at my foster house..and when I am outside I haven’t been barking or digging. I am trying ever so hard to please because I want to stay in a home furever! I would love obedience school....although I do not think I am so bad! Since I am such a young fella..training is always good. Isn't that the place where they you give you treats when you sit and stay when asked nicely, WOW.. I am in.. I will do anything for a treat!!! I just want to run and play and be with my people….although some days me and my foster sister just sleep for hours…aaah a nice warm home. I love other dogs...my foster sister and I like to play in the backyard, I've got some kids in the family and I really like it that they play with me and take me for walks. I’m not sure yet about the cat, though she is an interesting creature. I am sure she will come around in time and quit running from me and then I can quit chasing her. Riding in the car is always fun as I get to see new things As you can see, I am just stunning and people say to me.. Oh that face, he is the cutest thing ever!!! I wag my tail a lot too because I am really happy to be in a nice warm home it’s been cold outside! YEP.. that's me.. A handsome little devil! > I have been to the vet and received most of my shots (ouch!), but will need some additional boosters since I am still youngster. I also had the 'snipping' done which everyone tells me is necessary (double ouch!) but I am recovering nicely.
