Cody is a 5 1/2 years old, male, Yellow Labrador Retriever and Golden Retriever Cross who was returned to Second Chance because his adopted owners could not handle him because of medical conditions. Cody was initially surrendered because his family lost their home and was forced to move into a pet-free apartment. Before that, Cody had lived in at least two different homes, so he understands displacement and the loss of a home. Cody is a very happy, friendly and affectionate goon that needs a good deal of attention and love. He is crate trained, enjoys swimming and likes playing fetch. Cody would benefit from an obedience class, continued socialization and extensive recall training. We recommend a home with children five years and older. Cats are fine and other dogs are possible upon introduction. If you are looking for a lover-boy and a cuddle-bug, then come and meet our sweetheart, Cody!
