Harley2 was made for an active family or person. He is a large, strong dog with the energy to hike for miles, run for even more miles, and not even break into a canine sweat. If you like the outdoors, Harley2 is your kind of guy. A wonderful mix of a white German shepherd and a Golden retriever, he has sturdy genes that make him healthy and happy. He is probably too much dog for small children, but older kids would be fine, and certainly he loves everyone, other dogs included. Because of his size and energy level, we need to see him go to a home with a fenced yard, so he can play to his heart's content in safety. Oh yes, and while he might like canine friends and people, he sees cats as objects to chase, so if you have a cat, he might not be a good choice. He has so many other great characteristics, though! He LOVES to ride in a car, is already crate trained and house broken. He even has learned his basic commands. Sit? A piece of cake! Come? Down? Bring them on! What a great dog. If you are looking for a dog who can keep up with your lifestyle, to take hiking, camping, jogging, to be your very best friend, give Harley a good look. His happy face would grin at you every day as he greets the sun with a 'Let's go!' Note from his foster: Harley is affectionate, 82 lbs strong, healthy and active and he will require a fully fenced yard for his forever home. He brings the best of both breeds to his disposition- he has the alert loyalty and strong bonding of the shepherd (along with the paw action we shepherd lovers know so well) and the sweetness, soft mouth and agreeable nature of the golden. Harley knows basic commands, is crate trained and housebroken. He rides well in the car and has never met a person he did not like totally within the first two seconds. He gets along well with other dogs too. Harley will make a wonderful addition to the active home looking for a big, energetic, lovable goofball who always smiles!! Since he is young, just approaching 2 yrs, and strong, there will be a requirement for completion of Basic Obedience as part of his adoption agreementIf interested, please contact: email@example.com
