Description:
Please contact Kata (wirehairrescue@aol.com) for more information about this pet. Annie is a 6 month old liver and white GWP who is an absolute sweetheart.Annie is a 3 year old absolutely lovely female wirehair. She has found herself needing to find a new home due to current state of the economy. She loves people and is friendly and outgoing. There are certain things that will scare her just a little bit so it will best for her to go to a quieter adult home. She has grown up with kids and does well with them. She has had obedience training and would make someone an active running partner or great agility dog. She is spayed, UTD on shots, on HW preventative and microchipped. Annie is great dog that would amke a perfect addition to any home. LOST!! Archie is a male liver and white GWP. He was last seen in Sumter County, Alabama near Livingston and Sumterville. This is an email from the shelter about Beckett -seems to be a great dog! 'He is a very loving dog. Beckett is around 4 years old. He came here as a stray dog, so we don't about being house trained, however, he stays in a private suite with another dog and does pretty good at behaving. He seems to like other dogs very much, but really favors humans. He has good leash manners and needs someone to dote on him. He likes belly rubs, water play, walking, and loves treats. I see no sign of food aggression. I can kiss his nose and rub face into mine, and I can't say enough, how great this dog is. ' He would do best in an adult home or with older children. He is neutered and UTD on all his shots. Please contact: Center for Animal Health and Welfare Easton, Pennsylvania spcadogs@rcn.com 610-252-7722Meet Belle! His original owner had to find a new home for Cooper due to family problems, and his second owner only had him for a few days before they abandoned poor Cooper. Cooper spent many days running around local neighborhoods until Needy Paws Rescue went and picked him up. Cooper is a wonderful dog, and behaves perfectly in a home and loves rides in the car. He is great with all people, kids, and other dogs. He also does well with cats, but probably shouldn't goto to a home with cats because sometimes when they run from him, he thinks it is a game. Cooper knows a couple tricks. And loves to go for walks and hikes, in fact he would make a perfect jogging companion. Cooper's breed is a high energy and intelligent breed, which means they require daily exercise. An adopter familiar with his breed is ideal. Cooper's adopter must have a fenced in yard and a lot of love to give! We know that Cooper never wants to be homeless again and are confident that he will find his forever home soon! Please email WirehairRescue@aol.com so that we can put you in touch with Coopers foster home! *Cooper is neutered and up to date on his shots, he is also heartworm and worm free, he will be microchipped prior to adoption.Cooter is a 2-3 year old black and white german wirehaired pointer who found himself in a shelter when his family lost their home. They tried to keep him for as long as they could as they all lived out of their car, finally finding temporary shelter, but Cooter wasn't welcome so he kept living in the car. The family had to make the decision to do what was best for Cooter and let him find a new home where he could be properly taken care of. He has grown up around kids, other dogs and even cats =). He's extremely friendly, loves people, rides well in a car and wants nothing more than a new family to dote all over him. Whenever he sees someone just wiggle waggles everywhere. He's got a great personality, movie star looks and will make an amazing addition to any family. Please email for an application! My mother and I rescued her from the Plymouth Pound a few months ago. We knew her previous owner and were outraged she would put a dog in the pound after ten years. She is sweet if a little needy. Lots of energy, loves to fetch sticks in the lake , run and play. However, my mother is 77 and I am traveling increasingly more and we already have two dogs. So I think Greta is more than we can handle. She pulls on the leash so hard my mother is afraid to walk her. We really wanted to help when we took her from the pound but I feel we have gotten in too far over our heads. Greta is looking for a home to live out her golden years . . .could you be the home for her?Gretta is a 3 yr old liver roan GWP in need of a new, loving home. She comes from hunting stock and shows potential as a hunting dog. She is housebroken, crate trained, gets along well with other dogs. Her foster mom, a professional trainer is working on her training at the moment, she knows basic obedience skills and is now mastering her offleash training. She is a great dog, who's just looking for her new family, some who will take her for hikes, runs but let her snooze it up on a doggy bed at nite. This is a courtesy posting for Atlanta Pet Rescue Please visit their website www.atlantapetrescue.org to fill out an application on her and see their adoption policies Please note you will have to travel to Atlanta to pick up this great pup! Greta is a 9 month old GWP that came from an outlying animal control facility were she had a slim to none chance of getting adopted. Poor Greta was forced to live in a 3' x 3' dog run with two other dogs. The only bed in the kennel was covered in feces and urine so Greta and the others were forced to sleep on the cold cement floor. Greta is a charming sweet girl but has been neglected her entire life. She is nothing but skin and bones and needs to put on 10-15 pounds to be at a healthy weight. We will add more pictures when we receive them! Rensselaer, NY E-mail only info@capp-petplacement.org GUS is an ~6 year old male German Wire-Haired Pointer, probable mix. He is 60 pounds, black and white, and has a natural tail. Gus is outgoing and loves everyone! He is active and needs a human companion who will match his activity level. In the house he is 'velcro dog' and likes to be with his person constantly. Gus had a serious eye infection when rescued, but he is recovering and, according to his veterinary opthalmologist, his eyesight should not be affected. That is why he is wearing Doggles in the first picture, to block the UV rays since his eyes are photosensitive until they fully heal. Gus lives with other dogs, but would really prefer to be the center of attention. Gus will be tested with cats. He has earned a quiet household, so no children under 8 years of age please!
