Ginger is a 6 year old all liver female, 50 lbs, with lots of energy. She originally was found as a stray in PG Co. Maryland and was adopted by a family in Hanover Pa. Divorce left Ginger without space and a yard she needs for exercise. Ginger likes tennis balls and has a high prey drive. She good with other dogs and children although young children maybe knocked over with her energetic play. Ginger does OK in the crate but is more than happy to tell you when it is time to get out. Ginger is house trained but can be creative if left on her own. Ginger has jumped / climbed fences (4 ft) in search of prey and her people. She has not been tested with cats but given the prey drive we suspwct would not do well. Ginger bonds quickly. Although Ginger has basic obedience skills, bring her into a new environment, would be helped with a refresher course. Ginger is being fostered in Germantown, MD.
