Kerry is a nearly 2 years old, patched liver and roan female GSP. She's a big girl at 63 lbs., trim and athletic. Kerry is spayed, UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and currently on Flea/HW preventative. She's crate and house trained as well. A typical young, boisterous German Shorthair, she has loads of energy. She loves to run and play with her three GSP 'brothers', and also played well for a couple days with a foster sister. She has not shown much interest in the resident feline, therefore she'd likely be OK in a home with cats. Kerry is an extremely affectionate girl. She follows her foster mom around, but is not particularly anxious when left alone. She enjoys snuggling on the sofa with the pack. She enjoys sleeping on the bed with mom and dad at night (did I mention she's a big girl?!), luckily she will use her doggie bed if asked. Kerry's great in the car. She's done 350 miles in the cab of the noisy diesel truck, and 400 miles in the wagon with no complaints, curling into the familiar ball mostly. She's still learning to be obedient, and would benefit from a structured class. She pulls on lead, but responds readily to a prong collar. Kerry, raised with three small children, was surrendered because her mom is facing heart surgery and she felt this wonderful young girl would not receive the exercise and attention she needed. Kerry is looking for an active family to give her plenty of exercise and lots of love. She promises to will your home and hearts with lots of love in return. Kerry is being fostered in Aberdeen, Maryland.
