Jake is a 9 month old, 83lb GSP he will be neutered and up to date on vaccinations by mid February. Jake was turned into a shelter because his owner could no longer keep him in his apartment. Jake is house broken and crate trained. He is currently respecting a 4.5 ft split rail fence. Jake loves people and other dogs. He is being fostered with both a male and female GSP. He is a large dog and would need to room to run and play, he is not a fast or graceful runner. He is still young and will chew things that are not his. He does listen well when corrected. Jake would do well with an obedience course. He does know 'no', his name, sit, down and off but he needs reinforcement especially since he is a large dog. He loves to be hugged and have his neck scratched. He is good at the vet and good with baths. Jake doesn't know his own strength and probably wouldn't be good with small dogs or young children. He is being fostered in Elkton, MD.
