Hi Everyone.....I'm George! I was found as a stray in NY a while ago and brought to the SPCA. I was picked up by the NJ GSP rescue girls and here's where my new life begins. You can follow my progress on my blog at www.egspcrpgeorge.blogspot.com.I'm about 10 years old and 68 lbs. I've been in my foster home for a while months now and would love my own forever home. They call me 'junk yard George' as my nickname because I love to just hang outside and do my own thing and I don't need to be 'pampered' like some of those other dogs do. I can amuse myself outside in the yard with a bone and pay no attention to anyone (I love the ones filled with peanut butter the best!). I listen very well to basic commands. I know 'sit' and 'paw' and I'm learning the command 'stay'. I don't beg for food and I now to go and lay down when I'm told to. I'm a quick learner and love treats. I live with an 8 and a 10 year old and like to play ball with them. I walk well on a leash and my off leash recall is super, too!
