Meet Sweet Suzie Sweet Suzie girl is a young black and silver GSD (estimated birth date 9-15-08). She is a lovely medium size dog that would be absolutely devoted to any loving family. She tries so hard to please and is so grateful for every kind word. Friendly, playful, gentle and calm, Sweet Suzie absolutely adores any attention offered her and plays well with kids and other dogs. We suspect she'll be excellent with cats as well. Poor Sweet Suzie had been dumped on a country road to fend for herself, whereupon a kindly older lady began feeding her and let her sleep on the porch. Though she had to sleep outside, with no fencing to keep her safe, she stayed right there at the kind lady's house trying desperately to make friends with the lady's cats, who didn't want anything to do with her. When the good Samaratin needed to move south to care for a relative with cancer, she contacted Save Our Shepherds Rescue. Sweet Suzie is housebroken, up to date on vaccinations and has been spayed, but is now being treated for heartworms. She should be ready for adoption after early February. This is one sweet little girl who deserves a really great home. If you are interested in adopting a new family member from our organization, please complete the online adoption application. It is the first step to bringing home your new family member. All dogs listed as ADOPTABLE are indeed still available.
