Meet Elsa Elsa is a lovely black & tan female found in Memphis in the midst of a severe thunderstorm. After much effort trying to find her owners, no one has stepped up to claim her. (Estimated Birth Date 2-15-07)
Elsa loves to play and is great with other dogs. She needs brush up on obedience and leash manners so her new family will want to enroll her in a formal obedience class, which is always a good idea. We believe this not only reinforces the role of the humans as alpha pack leader, but strengthens the bond between dog and family. And its fun or both dog and human handler! anyway.
Elsa enjoys snuggling with her foster family on the sofa and loves all her inside family time. Elsa is still very much a puppy and is therefore a bit rambunctious so we would not recommend her for a home with tiny children or cats. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and was heartworm positive but has been treated and is ready to go to her new home .
If you are interested in adopting a new family member from our organization, please complete the online adoption application. It is the first step to bringing home your new family member.
All dogs listed as ADOPTABLE are indeed still available. Matching the right dog with the right family sometimes takes a while, so your patience is appreciated. Our adoption fees are: $300 for any dog 1 year and younger (BABY) $250 for any dog 1-3 years (YOUNG) $200 for any dog 3-7 years (ADULT) $150 for dogs over 7 (SENIOR)
The adoption fee helps cover expenses for the dogs while in the rescue program including the vet check, vaccines, heartworm testing, stool check, spay/neuter , microchip, plus other necessary veterinary care and training to get the dog ready for adoption.
Everyone must submit an application before an appointment is made to meet the dogs. We are not a shelter, but a network of foster homes. Therefore there is no one central location where multiple dogs can be viewed. We work BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
