Blacky is a gorgeous male approximately 9 years old. He was a staff favorite back in the day when he was at the shelter. He is majestic and walks nicely on the leash. Housebroken of course. He has been living with a dog trainer/animal behaviorist since August. He has learned to gently take food from the fingers, knows his basic commands plus a few tricks, and is is lively although not hyper. He is gentle, calm, well behaved and friendly. This dog is a family dog, a loyal companion who wants just one thing: to serve his master just like a good dog is supposed to do. He is not a fan of kitties though, and would do best in a household where his owner was a female..we would love to find Blackie a wonderful home he so deserves.
