Please meet OLLIE.. He arrived to our rescue from a high kill pound in GA on Sunday August 2 and is looking for a forever home of his own. Ollie is a young male dog that appears to be about a year old and 37 pounds. He is a bit shy but very sweet and loving. He is neutered, heartworm negative, microchipped and up to date on his vaccinations. He appears to be housetrained. He got along with people and other dogs while at his foster care giver in GA and has been quite lovely at our rescue so far.
Please read what the pound in GA had to say about Ollie while he was with them...Ollie may not look like a fancy purebred, but he is one of the most fantastic dogs we have in the shelter. This little man is the total package. He is sweet, loving, kind, humble, great on a leash, polite, really an outstanding soul. We are SO hopeful Ollie makes it out . He is the plain little dog everyone leaves behind, its such a shame that everyone out there cannot see them like we do. This boy is awesome!
It is so very true that most people searching for a dog are attracted by the outwardly beautiful ones, and often times plain ordinary dogs who have stellar personalities are sadly overlooked. If you are the type of person who can see beyond the exterior of a plain brown and black fur coat and are looking for a dog with a kind gentle spirit, then Ollie may be a perfect match for you... If you could offer Ollie a great forever home, please email now and start the adoption dialogue process!! He has so much love to offer some lucky family. Could it be yours?
FYI~ If a dog is marked PENDING on our petlist, it means that the dog is currently in the midst of a 2 week trial period with an adoptive family.
FENCING~ If you own your own home, outdoor fencing is a non-negotiable requirement for your adoption. PLEASE ~ NO UNDERGROUND INVISIBLE FENCING! We will also consider (on a case by case basis) apartment and condo dwellers who have no yard but must rather leash walk their dogs 100% of the time.
