FOSTERED IN: Gurnee, ILBREED/AGE: White German shepherd/small terrier mix??? One ear sticks out to the side and the other flops down, which looks really adorable on him! A food supplement helps control shedding in the winter. He is about 15 months old and has been neutered.SIZE: About 30 # or knee high. Clearly one of his parents was a smaller dog than a shepherd.ACTIVITY LEVEL: Since he's still a youngster he has plenty of energy. Loves to play with his toys--fetch or tug of war and loves rawhide bones. He has been around children and other dogs with no problems in either area.MANNERS: No aggression with food but he does look at the counters and kitchen table is he gets a chance. Pretty good at going potty outside. Knows his name and sit. Is crated but does not like it and will complain for awhile and try to get out if he can. He has an adorable way of jumping into the air all 4 feet at once when he plays outside or wants attention. FOSTER FAMILY NOTES: He will need a family who will play with him or walk him or run with him. He needs to have that energy worked off and then he's more than happy to snuggle on the couch with you. He barks at all strangers for a minute or so and then relaxes. An obedience course would be really good for him and would help him bond with a new family.All
