Please help! I rescued Valentine (Val) 4 years ago and she has proven to be my best buddy! I am completely heartbroken that I have to find her a home, but I am going back to school to get my masters in education and with my schedule I am no longer able to give her the care that she needs. My father was going to adopt her, but he passed away tragically 6 months ago. Val is a pitbull shepherd mix, 55 lbs and she will be 5 years old on Valentines Day. She is fixed, house trained, microchipped, has short hair, a short tail and she's a pirate. Unfortunately, she came from an abusive household so she got injury induced Glaucoma and had to get her eye removed last year. Thank God it's not in her blood line so she has one good eye left:) Val is a sweetheart and she is very submissive around humans. She is super excited and she would do best in a home without young children or animals. Val won the award for 'Best Cuddler' in 2008 and she has a funny disposition. She responds to high five, big ten, and...... 'talk dirty'. My goal is to find Val a home where she will be showered with love and gets enough exercise! Thanks so much.
