Rocky is truly a southern gentleman, he’s a middle-aged guy, somewhere around 5-7 years. He was found wandering down a street, just minding his own business.
We have had him for about 2 weeks and he has adjusted famously to our family and our dog. He was great around a group of people we had at our home, just laying on the sidelines, not bothering anyone or the food. He is quiet and loves to be near you. His temperament is calm. He isn’t bothered by children or other animals. He is house-trained, leash trained and just as easy as can be. He LOVES playing with a tennis ball and a Kong and will carry it around in his mouth.
No fenced in yard for us so we walk him. He’s a great walker, sometimes he needs a small tug to keep his focus, but otherwise he is great to take on a walk. He rides well in the car, happy to sit in the back seat, look out the window or just sleep till you get where you are going. Other than that he is a gem. All he needs is 2 square meals a day and a loving home!
Rocky is all up to date on his vaccinations, heartworm and flea medicine. He is scheduled to be neutered so he can be ready to go to his forever home. He’s very trainable and I can tell this because he has adjusted so well from where he stayed for a few weeks and then to our home with our family and pet. We do have a cat, but our cat won’t get near him, but his first foster mom said he sniffed the cat, but didn’t chase.
