Description:
This big guy did not have a name when we picked him up from animal control the day before he was scheduled to die. He's absolutely huge, though, so, in keeping with his heritage, we call him Panzer.
He is crate trained, and has learned not to pull so badly on the leash as long as he's wearing a training collar. Despite his looks, he is a big baby that will make someone a great pet. He is a friendly guy who would likely make an excellent therapy dog. He LOVES toys; especially a big black Kong.
He tested positive for heartworms, & is currently undergoing treatment to get rid of them. The treatment we chose to use is an all-natural, homeopathic treatment that will take a little longer than the conventional treatment involving arsenic, which can be very hard on the dog.
Panzer's adoption fee is $200. He will be neutered, dewormed, and receive all his shots before you take him home. However, he will not be available until September.
