The first word that comes to mind when describing Nessa is curious and then puppy – followed by the sweetest, little, doll ever – oh, and it doesn’t hurt that she is gorgeous!!! Nessa is a very happy girl that came to us as a stray covered in fleas… well, we got rid of her fleas – it only took 4 baths is one day, a little Capstar, and some Frontline  and now she is as good as new! Nessa is a sweet little puppy who is learning the ropes and all about life from her foster mom (me), and her new GSD friends. She loves to play and will take every toy out of the toy basket and toss them to herself in the air – or she may have a little romp with Sabra, her sister. Her other favorite place is racked out and napping on her doggie bed amongst several of her favorite toys. She is so fun to watch and did I mention that she is a total love bug? Well, she is! She is a little shy at first, but warms up with love and some affection. As sweet as she is, we all have to remember that Nessa is still a puppy – she is working on potty training, is excellent in her crate and does not mind being crated while her people are away, and is into chewing! She is still learning what is appropriate to chew and what is not – it does not take much to correct her and she is not a destructive chewer, just a normal puppy. She will pick up the occasional shoe and loves to drag around towels – a stern “no” and a replacement with an appropriate toy does the trick. Nessa weighs in at about 47 lbs right now and will be a petite female. She is only about 7-8 months old and will continue to grow and learn. Now is a great time for puppy socialization and a fun obedience class. Nessa will do well in a home with other dogs and people. She has lots of puppy energy and daily walks and socialization are a must at her age. She is very sweet and settles nicely in the house. If you are looking for a young, petite female and are ready to work with a sweetheart of a puppy Nessa is the dog for you!
