The Hardin County dog shelter is a small rural dog pound in Kenton, Ohio, with only 30 small concrete pens. When the shelter fills, which it does weekly, dogs are taken to a local kill shelter. Every dog that comes in to this pound is destined for a trip to the kill shelter if it is not adopted or rescued within a reasonable amount of time.
