Pooh is a Very 'Special Needs' dog. She is a medium sized Shepherd-Mix, weighing about 45 pounds. She was removed from an abusive family several years ago. She is blind in one eye and has some broken teeth. She also has some emotional problems, all as a result of the abuse she sustained as a young dog. Pooh was adopted several months after she arrived here. The family kept her crated during the day for 2 years before returning her. Another very traumatic experience for her. She has been back home here ever since. Pooh will need an extremely patient and loving family. She is afraid of children and with her sight problem she is very head-shy. However she loves attention from those she trusts and would like nothing more than to sit at your feet and have her head rubbed. We someone will look beyond her problems to see the sweet, innocent angel she is. With all she has been through, it is extremely important that her new home is a perfect fit that will last a lifetime. All our pets are inside only. They are vet current and spay/neuter and microchip is included in adoption fee of $150.00. Home visit and fenced yard required.
