Description:
AVAILABLE SOON: Cooper is a sweet, playful youngster who is about 18 months old. He is slender, weighing about 65 lbs., but has a decidedly 'big dog' bark. Cooper's slightly goofy personality and soft 'flying nun' ears (which stand erect when he alerts) are sure to make you smile. Cooper was rescued by a good samaritan in the Wisconsin Dells area after his breeder threatened to shoot him in order to make room for a litter of new puppies. The rescuer could not keep him, however, and that is when RAGS came to his aid. Cooper gets along well with other dogs. He is very gentle with all he meets, but is a bit shy/timid, so a family with older children or no children may suit him best. We have not tested him with cats yet. Cooper would love a home w a fenced yard to play in and a large canine playmate - preferably female - with whom to play chase and roughhouse. Cooper is crate trained and requires a special diet due to digestive sensitivity. Don't delay - apply to adopt this charming shepherd pup today! To adopt a dog from RAGS please complete our online adoption application. Each happy adoption makes it possible for us to rescue another wonderful german shepherd dog who may otherwise face the end of its life alone and unloved in a shelter. If you would like to help but are unable to adopt a dog at this time, please consider making a donation.
