Description:
Relinquished because of illness in the family, Bruni is great with other dogs and kids. She loves people! She knows some basic commands, is housebroken, and is an all around wonderful six year ol Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could explain to a family pet just why it has to leave its family and its familiar house and move into a kennel setting? We look into their eyes and see many different emotions -confusion, uncertainty, sorrow, and pain. Bruni is a six year old AKC registered German shepherd who was relinquished because of family illness. She loves all other dogs. She is great at dog parks. She is housebroken. She is great with kids of all ages. She loves people. She walks well on leash although she can get excited when seeing other dogs. She knows basic commands such as sit, down, stay, and come. She's accustomed to being in a crate at night and when her human family was out of the house. (Don't buy expensive bedding for the crate though because sometimes it is impossible to resist chewing in into little pieces!) Toys are sort of boring but Bruni does enjoy Nylabone chew toys. Won't you be the person who makes the pain go away and happiness return to Bruni's days?? If you are interested in meeting Bruni, please contact us via email at sddogs@coastalgsr.org. Don't forget to fill out our online application. The minimum adoption donation ranges from $400 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
