Description: 
Baron is a rare long-haired German Shepherd who was rescued from Animal Control, where he came in as a stray. He is currently in a foster home with three small older dogs, and gets well with everybody.... he even gets along with cats! He is a wonderful house dog and is well housetrained. Since Baron has longer hair, he does not have an undercoat, so he will not shed and blow his coat like a short-haired Shepherd. He needs a 'forever' home that will welcome him as a full-fledged member of their family. Baron is neutered and is current on his Rabies, DHP/Parvo, and Bordetella vaccines. He has tested positive for heartworms and will be treated the week of August 18th. Baron's adoption fee is $175.00.
