Description:
Please contact Kim (namemyne@comcast.net) for more information about this pet. Bart is now safe in temporary foster care with a Second Hope Rescue volunteer until he can be transported to a boarding facility in our area. Through a collaborated effort from Second Hope, Why Not Me and Ruff Life, Bart will get a second chance at life. Here are the notes from the volunteer that pulled him from the shelter on his final moment: Yeah !!!! We got him out last night. He is a sweetheart and couldn't give Theresa and I enough kisses when we picked him up. I have a temporary foster here until Kim can find a foster. We did not want you to have to spend $$$ to board him if we didn't have to. I can be a part of his transport to Kim when needed. Bart is crate trained, house trained (we think), neutered, current on rabies, bordatella and distemper. He knows several commands, sit , heel, stay and shake. He is a very handsome boy. Let me know what you think. Here is the original email plea: Hi Everyone, Attached is a picture of Bart, a shep/dobie mix at the shelter. The owner contacted me desperately pleading for help. He split up from his wife and moved out of his home. She promised to keep the dogs until he could find a place to take them to or rehome them himself. He just found ouT she gave his playmate, Lisa, a gsd mix away and took Bart to the shelter saying she could not afford to feed him. He has been to the shelter twice to visit Bart and asked that they hold on to him until he can maybe get a rescue group to help him. If you feel like you can give Bart the home that he so deserves please contact Kim at namemyne@comcast.net
