Who would guess that a border collie and fox terrier would produce such a fine dog as myself? I'm Nancy. I'm about 11 months old and have been living in foster care for about a month. Back in Kentucky, I was dropped off at high-kill dog pound along with my sister. We were rescued by JRs and were brought up to Milwaukee. My sister was adopted, so now it's my turn to find a loving family of my own. I am about 45 pounds-ish, so I shouldn't be getting much bigger at all. I am SUPER affectionate. I love getting attention from anyone who will spend time with me. Cuddling with people feels so natural. Of course, in addition to quiet time, I love getting lots of exercise. I'm very agile and in great shape. I have a lot of endurance and run and leap very fast. Running in the yard at full speed is always a good time. Playing with other dogs is a lot of fun, too. I live with a cat, whom I get along with, but we don't spend a lot of time together. Watching the neighborhood from the living room bay window is another pasttime I enjoy. I have the most beautiful brown eyes and a lovely curly tail, which didn't show up very well on the photos. If you think you could offer me a great home, let's get together. My adoption fee is $300 P> Adoption fees for all dogs/puppies include the spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, frontline/biospot, and all age appropriate vaccinations. Our adoption process requires the submission of an application. At this time it is necessary to send a request for an application. Upon receipt of the completed application, we will process the application including contact with your veterinarian and complete a home visit. Please be sure to include the contact information for your vet as we will call. If your vet requires an information release, please be sure to contact them as soon as you submit your application. We are a group of volunteers who all work other jobs, so please be patient and allow a few days for our response.
