My name is Mason. I am a 2 year-old Flat-Coated Retriever mix. I was found wandering around and was taken to a shelter in hopes I would find a new family. Thankfully, I'm now staying with my AARF foster mom and I'm having way more fun. Being cooped up in a shelter wasn't all that great. I'm neutered and up to date on all my shots. I think I'm he perfect size for a dog - right around 45 lbs. Not too big, not too small! I've lived with a family before because I'm housebroken already which my foster mom likes a lot. I think other dogs and cats are cool but I really like humans the best. They are awesome! They pet me and tell me I am sweet and handsome which I totally am! I haven't been playing with toys too much but I'm sure I'll reconnect with my inner puppy eventually. I do really love treats though. My foster mom asks me to sit and stuff when she gives me my treats but I don't mind. They are yummy. You should come meet me sometime. I am soft and shiny and have a crooked smile you will fall in love with. I will gladly sit next to you and look adoringly in your face until you decide you can't live without me.
