They were rescued from a high kill shelter in Ohio after the shelter ran out of room and these babies were running out of time. Our rescue took them in with their mother, Elsie.Please note that these pups are being treated for 'puppy mange' This is a result of skin mites creating skin issues. This is not the contagious type and it is clearing up. Unfortunately, we have no breed history at all on the parents of these puppies. The breeds are a 'best guess'. They are approximately 7 pounds at 7 weeks old, so they will most likely be medium to large size dogs. Maryland Law does not allow the adoption of pups prior to their 8 wk birthday. Adoption donation fees: Please know that 100% of our fees go towards the dog's care and their medical needs. Lonely Hearts Animal Rescue is a 501c3 non profit organization. The adoption donation is: $250 plus a $100 spay/neuter deposit. Puppies will be adopted on a spay/neuter contract only. This ADDITIONAL $100 deposit will be taken at the time of adoption and refunded upon proof of spay/neuter. The puppies are being fostered in Frederick MD or in Sykesville, MD and must be picked up at the determined location. After the references have been checked and the application has been approved, a scheduled visit to the foster home can be made once the pups initial immunizations have been given.
