A little bit of a clown, Jasmine will keep you laughing as she goes around the yard playing. She acts like everything is a wonderment to her as if she has never seen it before.
Jasmine is about 2 years old in these pictures taken January 3, 2009. She is very playful and loving. She is a little shier than her sister, Aurora is. Jasmine and her sister came to us in August after someone found them. The City shelter was closed and the people couldn't keep the girls because their dog wouldn't accept new dogs. So we had to take them to keep them from getting hurt. Jasmine is not going to get much bigger according to the vet and she weighed 30 pounds when she went to the vet 9/17/08. Her breed of Pointer, English, does not get much bigger.
Lone Pine Volunteers have been working with Jasmine and her sister the last month. They are doing well on the leash and learning not to jump up on people. They are both coming along considering we only have volunteers to work with them about 20 or so minutes each Saturday.
