Description:
Please contact John (cwagginn@wmconnect.com) for more information about this pet. Vernon is a sweet and affectionate young Doberman/Hound who is staying at Waggin Inn Rescue until he can find a home of his own. As you can see, he is a very good-looking dog. Vernon is healthy, is current on shots, and has been neutered. His favorite thing to do is to hang out with people!! He would be content all day long to be by your side. He chases the tennis ball a little, and romps around the yard, but as soon as he sees a person, he's on them like Velcro. He rewards his people with kisses and smiles, and wiggles from tail to nose. (Speaking of tail, Vernon does not have a docked tail, luckily for him!) In the past Vernon had some food guarding issues, but he's been working on this and has not exhibited this at the rescue. In fact, Vernon will take treats very gently out of your hand. He is a little touchy about having his back feet messed with. Because of this, we are recommending a home without children under 12. If you would like to meet Vernon, please call the rescue at 541-688-3260, or send an e-mail to cwagginn@wmconnect.com. His adoption fee will be $75. We will ask that you complete an application and allow a home visit.
