All I can say about Emily is WOW. She has been through soooo much in her short life, but even with abuse and neglect in her recent past, she is a total love bug and has forgiven and forgotten everything that she had to endure. Besides being left at Animal Control by her previous 'family,' in a crate filled with bugs, Emily has had some sort of trauma to her head. She has a permanent head-tilt that makes it seem like she's listening to every word you say. And she is! Because she was left in that awful, bug-filled crate by the people who were supposed to provide her care and love, she had roach-bites all over her little body. Those are healing nicely and her hair has finally grown back in over those spots. Emily is a true gem and the family who is fortunate enough to adopt her will get years and years of unconditional love in return. Emily is crate trained and is working on house-breaking. She is shy at first, but warms up quickly. She gets along very well with other dogs and is fine with children, as long as they promise to love and respect her. She's never been around cats.She is a
