Copper is a mini dachshund that needs a real home. He was relinquished by his owner, and has been living at the Mississippi Animal Hospital since January. The staff take turns taking him home for the weekend. He's a lover! Loves people, other dogs, even cats. He is neutered and up to date on vax. He's six yrs old, about 12 lbs, short-hair, reddish color. His back legs were temporarily paralyzed, for a brief period. He is not 100% recovered from this, still a little wobbly at times, but walks and runs. No incontinence problems. A one-level home would be ideal for this little guy. He's very energetic .If you know of anyone who could foster or adopt Copper ....Please contact Mississippi Animal Hospital at 720-859-7708 or Jeanie at 303-596-9612 for more information.
