Description:
Adoption donation is $300. If you adopt Ginger as well - the donation is $500 for the pair.Puggy weighs 36 pounds.Puggy barks but I would not classify him as a yapper. He is playful sometimes and loves to romp with other animals. What he most wants though is someone who will devote some time just to him. He is a gentle lovable animal who just wants someone to love him, and in return he will devote himself completely to them. He is fairly quiet, but a clinger who wants to cuddle and watch tv, cuddle while you read a book, be petted and coddled constantly when possible. He learns quickly when there is something to be gained whether that be a treat or time alone with you. At first he gives you the impression of an empty headed hound, but don't let him fool you he's smarter than he looks. Puggy loves to go along everywhere whether you are walking or taking a ride. The words bye bye have him grinning at you with his tail swishing. He will play with a ball or rope when he's feeling energetic, but it's not his first love. His first love is a arm to hold him and a hand to pet him, he's a lover not a fighter. His crate can be any type, he just wants a place that's his and prefers it when that place is at your feet or in your lap.Ginger and Puggy are brother - sister. Both are good with kids, both love to wrestle and play tug of war. Both have some aggression with food, but neither has ever been vicious about it. They love rawhide, Ginger more than Puggy. They have never been separated, and I would prefer to adopt them together 'if possible'. Both are trained to crate at a clap or snap of the fingers with the word kennel. They enjoy their crates being available to them for those times when they want to be alone and quiet. Both will listen to basic voice commands, both are housetrained. Both come when called, and will return as long as the command is given with authority. Neither would be suited to a home with a cat who will run from them as they will chase, but not injure the cat. Both have spent lots of time around cats and will sleep side by side with them on the bed. Both are leashed trained, but pull some as they spend most of their time loose in the yard.
