Joan is a black-and-tan Standard Smooth-Haired Dachshund mix. A black-and-tan beauty, she is just two years old and weighs 13lbs. Joan Lunden is a real hotdog on television, but her Atlanta namesake is an ever-loving gal, a real softie. She came from a high-kill animal shelter. This Joan is biding her time, just waiting for the right family to curl up with and watch the evening news together. Joan loves people and gets along with other dogs, as well.
