Wire Hair Dachshund! Toby was at animal control and never reclaimed. He is super cute, and sweet to boot! We just love him but can't keep him to ourselves! Smart and affectionate Toby is everything a wirehaired dachshund should be, except livin' in a good forever home. When I met the little guy Saturday, I discovered that under his colorful scruffy coat he's kinda skinny. His humans may not have taken great care to feed him properly, or he may need a simple deworming, or he may have been lost for a while before AC picked him up. But he'll sit for a treat, bounce around you and give kisses, walk nicely on leash beside you, and isn't blabby or nippy as some Doxies are (in fact he was quiet but attentive to everyone he interacted with). His golden eyes are mesmerizing! All in all, he's pretty irresistible, and popular with AC visitors young and old. He weighs about 14#. Adoption fee $300 go to www.petzonedogs.com for info.
