Description:
Please contact Jennifer (sgturtle2001@yahoo.com) for more information about this pet. Sadie is a lovely little girl, looking for that special home that will show her what it really means to be loved. She is a little on the shy side, but that's understandable when you realize how unstable her life has been recently. She was surrendered by her family, to be adopted by an elderly man, who then realized he was too elderly, and now she's looking for yet another family. They always say the third time's a charm ... so lets find Sadie a lovely, charming family. Sadie is a Beagle mix, possibly with Dachshund, Cavalier, or Chihuahua, but I'm not really seeing much of those in her. She is SUPER cute though. Born 8\23\06 and she is 19 pounds. Sadie is house trained, has been spayed, tested negative for heartworm, is up to date on vaccinations, and knows some basic commands. Sadie does well with cats. She is curious, but once they turn in her direction, she back away. She does wonderful with other dogs her size. She seems a bit intimidated by the larger dogs and will take more time to warm up to them. But in the few hours she's been home with me she's already getting better. We went for a walk after work today and that helped a lot with bonding with one of the larger dogs. She loved her walk - she even perks her ears when you ask if she wants to go and gets excited. After our walk, we ate dinner, and she begged a little, but not bad. Then we settled down, her on my lap, to watch a little tv. She seems to like being a lap dog. However, she seems to be a little camera shy. Every time we get her to perk her ears up, we take the picture, and down goes her head! She even layed down once and we completely missed her. She is cute in the pictures, but absolutely adorable in person Please Complete an application Online Adoption Application
