Description:
Hey There! My name is Daisy and I am a 3 year old corgi/beagle mix as far as we can tell. I was surrendered by my owner under suspicious circumstances to a rural shelter in NC. I am a very short girl and extremely cute, I weigh in at 26 pounds ( I could stand to lose a couple pounds) and I am a mere 12 inches at my withers! Even though I was owned at one point my foster mom says she can tell I haven't been in a house very often. I find things inside a little overwhelming at first but I find comfort from my foster siblings. I am in a foster home with several other dogs of all sizes and a human toddler that is very dog savvy. I still have a lot to learn about being an actual family member instead of a lawn ornament but I know I can do it! When my foster mom calls me to come to her I come running and then I roll over to have my belly rubbed. My foster mom says she knows that I will learn fast and it won't be long before I have figured out that not all people are bad. So far I have been very quite and I am totally crate trained. I would do best in a home with a patient person that can build my confidence and help me become a valued family member. If you think you might have a place for me, please submit an application!
