He came from Marion, AR where he was found as a stray w/a hunt tracking collar on. No one claimed him. He was emaciated. He has difficulty putting on weight first, because he was very nervous in a shelter environment (though genuinely cared for and loved by the volunteers) and second, here at Silverwalk because he is so active! He and Muggle live to tree varmints! He is a lovely, friendly guy who is learning house training; can 'sit,' 'down,' and comes to his name (within the fenced yards, of course). As he was apparently a failed hunting dog, he will NOT be adopted out as a hunter again but as a pet - and when you bring him into your home, you will know you struck gold. Scout is up to date on all shots, Heart worm neg and on preventative and on flea/tick preventative.
