Miss Tess Trueheart is a sweet gal, around 2-3 years old, discovered in a shelter in WashDC after being found as a stray. This darling was in pitiful shape when we got her and now she's under a doctor's care and recovering nicely. She's currently being treated for flea infestation, kennel cough and pneumonia - but she's responding well to treatment and should be just fine in due time. So far, we know she's very friendly, rides well in the car, is good with other dogs, and she comes house trained and spayed! What a bargain! Keep checking back for updates - and hopefully she'll be shimmying into your heart in no time. =) If you are interested in rescuing a collie, please complete this short adoption questionnaire. Our standard adoption fee is $350. This fee helps us to cover the expense of providing each dog with a Health Exam, Rabies/DHPP vaccines, Heartworm Test, Heartworm Preventative, Flea & Tick Protection, Microchip, Neuter/Spay, and Bath.
