Sweetheart looking for same
Need a best friend? I sure do. Could it be you? I'll follow you around and we can go to the dog park and I can lay in a dog bed at your feet when it is night time (I'm afraid of the dark when I'm alone, so it's ok if I sleep in your room, right?) and we can toss a ball and we can play with other dogs and we can watch TV and you can pat my head and tell me 'Good Dog, Sawyer, you are a Good Dog' and I'll look at you like you are all that exists in the entire world. We can sit on the porch and think deep thoughts as the sun goes down. You can sit in the rocker and I'll just lay down next to you and I'll watch that my tail doesn't get run over by the rocker. The other dog will be on the other side of you or maybe next to the other people out here who are also relaxing and drinking icetea after a long day at work. The cats are in the windows looking at us and that's ok because I think cats are ok. We'll watch the sun set and go inside before it gets buggy and then do it all over again tomorrow. What a good life, huh? Are you my good life best friend?
Sawyer is undergoing treatment for light heartworm disease, but he is expected to make a full recovery. He will be available to go home to his 'good life best friend' after October 16th. Since he is such a great dog, we think he'll have some interest, so read over our policies at http://www.collieconcern.org/policies and get your application in at http://www.collieconcern.org/application so that he can go home just as soon as he is ready instead of spending more time in a foster home.
