Description:
Say hello to Gus! He is a spunky youngster with lots of love to give. He enjoys chasing sticks and balls and spending time with you outside. He is crate trained and housebroken and will “tell” you if he needs to go out or show you by walking to the door and looking back at you. Gus likes cats and other dogs and tends to copy the other house dogs’ behaviors because he is still a puppy and impressionable. Gus loves to cuddle with you on the sofa and will follow you around the house! He is devoted first to the women in a household, and will need extra encouragement and love from any new men in his life. If you stoop to his level and kindly interact with him, he may protest by barking a little, but if presented with a yummy treat he will gladly accept it. Winning his trust on his meager terms will ensure his satisfying and loving bond. Gus would do very well in a home with a sturdy, secure fenced yard with at least one other, well-trained, confident dog. Gus listens very well and will need positive, consistent training. If you are interested in rescuing a collie, please complete this short adoption questionnaire. Our standard adoption fee is $350. This fee helps us to cover the expense of providing each dog with a Health Exam, Rabies/DHPP vaccines, Heartworm Test, Heartworm Preventative, Flea & Tick Protection, Microchip, Neuter/Spay, and Bath. Upon receipt of the questionnaire, an adoption coordinator will contact you within 5 business days. Thank you for considering to adopt a collie in need!!!
