How hard can it be to take a photo of a black dog right? Pretty tough, so Prince has a video on www.carolinacockers.com it's worth seeing! Prince is an absolutely wonderful man and why no one has given him a second chance in life is beyond me. So I am going to take a minute to tell you. When we first rescued Prince the shelter was not going to make him available for adoption to the public because they said he 'was gonna bite somebody.' Actually when I first met him I thought the same thing. After a few days of gingerly handling him I realized just how insane that was, Prince has a silly underbite so sometimes it looks like he is snarling when he's actually excited to see you! It's hilarious to think back on that now because I know Prince wouldn't bite a flea. He does have double juvenile cataracts and really can't see more than a few feet in front of him. But that doesn't stop him from doing anything he wants to do. If you sit down be prepared for Prince to be right there sitting with you with his head tucked right up against your neck. This boy needs love so badly and truly deserves it. Since he can't see I don't want him with any tiny children but he LOVES my kids who are teenagers. He's fine with other dogs too as long as they don't run into him a lot. This truly is a great man and I hope you can see past the small issue of his eyes because that is a minimal problem for Prince. By the way, he can see my pool just fine he never falls in so as long as he knows his surroundings he is fine in any situation. Oh and he can swim anyways. Some cockers can't you know...
