Description:
Bella is a beautiful buff female cocker spaniel, small weighing only 15 lbs. She lived her first 3 years in a Texas puppy mill living in a crate most, if not all of a 24 hour day. She had little socialization with humans during these 3 years. Medical needs such as a hernia and cherry eye were not surgically repaired. Necessary vaccines were not given until the day before her transport.
Bella is scheduled to be spayed, and to have her cherry eye and hernia repaired. She must stay on a low protein diet because we believe her kidneys were compromised during her transport by a puppy miller.
Even with the way she lived, she is truly a sweet girl. She really is looking for a family who likes to cuddle! She really loves people!
She will continue to need an understanding home environment until she is completely potty trained and socialized. Bella exhibits no aggression and should do well in a home with older children.
She enjoys the company of other dogs, loves playing with doggy toys, treats, and she can't wait for dinner.
