Snicker is a 9-month-old, chocolate and tan, very happy puppy. She's very affectionate and loves to be the center of attention. She loves people, she gets along with dogs, cats and children, and loves romping around in the snow. She also likes stuffed animals and likes to play fetch. For only being 9 months old Snicker is content with laying on the floor by your feet. Snicker is crate trained and housetrained, but is still a pup and doesn't give clear signals that she has to go outside. She is ALWAYS praised when she does her business outside and that should continue until she matures. Snicker has an under bite which makes it look like she's pouting. Snicker hasn't exhibited any problems with her ears or skin.
We do not encourage adoptions to families with young children. We are very concerned about the well being of your children as well as that of our dogs. We realize that each case is different and our adopting dogs to families with children 10 years of age or older will be based not only on the children's age but their exposure and experience with the Cocker Spaniel and other dog breeds. Sorry but we will not place a dog in a family with a child under 10 years of age, unless there is already a dog living in that home.
