Shaggy is a 5 year old, male, Chow Chow-Rottweiler cross who came to Second Chanced because his previous owner moved to a pet-free apartment. He is a quiet and intelligent boy who is active and also a quick learner. Reinforcement of known obedience and continued socialization would be very beneficial for Shaggy. Crate trained as a puppy, Shaggy will find hiding places under beds and tables for security. Mellow and obedient, Shaggy would make a great addition to a home with children ten years and older. We do not recommend a home with cats, since he has a history of not getting along well with them in his previous home. Other dogs, however, are possible upon introduction.
