When Roo came to us he was heartworm positive and had a cyst on his side that needed removal. He has spent three months undergoing treatment for the heartworms, the cyst has been removed and his teeth cleaned. He's feeling much better ! His coat will continue to improve with good nutrition. Although still positive for heartworms when tested his veterinarian expects Roo to make a full recovery. Roo is aggressive with other dogs and needs to be the only dog in your family. He is very affectionate with people and will be a loyal, faithful companion for a special person willing to take him into their heart. He never complained once about his plight ( he was hours away from being euthanized ) and has been through everything imaginable a dog can go through and has survived. I have to believe there's a special place for Roo in this world. This is one tough hombre and continues to retain his integrity and dignity through it all.
