Description:
Please contact Janelle (janellechavez@q.com), (505) 304-3384 for more information about this pet. Update: Louie has been with us for a while now and he has shown tremendous improvement!!! He is very loving, well behaved, and playfuul (fetch is his favorite game!). He loves to play and he has gained some weight. We think he would be a wonderful addition to any home.. Louie is a very sweet boy who has just been passed from home to home.. He is a bit frightened and unsure of himself, but still very loving.. I am sure he will start showing his true playful self once he gets used to his new surroundings.. He came into rescue for rehabilitation with some behavioral issues.. From what we gather after a long converstaion with the owners he was too aggressive for them to keep and their children would not stop teasing him making his aggression worse.. We are currently working with him on these issues and he will soon be available for adoption.. He does fear bite with children and men-- may have possibly been tormented, teaed, or abused.. So we will not recommend Louie to go into a home with small children or an overly aggressive man.. Overall though we have found that he is very calm and happy with adults and older children who treat him with kindness.. With him being so young we are sure he will adjust perfectly into a new home-- of course we are always available for our adopters if they need any help at all with their adopted dogs!!! Louie's adoption fee of $150 will include his neuter, UTD vaccines, rabies vaccine, heartworm test and next month heatworm preventative, a training DVD, a 1 month supply of Pedigree dog food, training materials, his collar and tags, and all the help and support you need for the life of your new pet.. We are always available to answer questions and help with any issus the new adopters are having with their adopted dogs.. We want the adoptions to last forever.. He is a darling little guy that just needs a stable environment with people who can teach him some commands to build his confidence!!! Please e-mail us a request for an adoption application if you would like to come out and meet our stunning little boy Louie. Please visit our new website www.almosthomenm.com
