Thank you for your interest in one of our dogs. Once you have read the biography if he/she sounds like a match, please fill out an application on our website at www.dpsrescue.com. Adoption Fee for all adult dogs is $300. Puppies are $350. Seniors over the age of 10 years old are $150. All dogs are spayed or neutered, current on shots (DHPPC, Bordetella and Rabies), microchipped, Frontline for fleas and ticks and dewormed. Knox is a 4-5 year old Chihuahua who was originally adopted out as a youngster and recently returned when he was found running the streets and his microchip came back to us. He's a fabulous dog who gets along wonderfully with other dogs, doesn't mind cats and suprise of all suprise is great with kids. He's not your typical yippy-snippy Chihuahuas. He loves people. His preference is to sleep with you and hey, if your pillow is open, he's game. He loves to ride in the car and hang out with you. He's the perfect dog for taking to the office.Knox loves people. He is a great ambassador for the Chihuahua breed because those naysayers will meet him and realize he's fabulous. Knox hasn't met another canine yet that he didn't like, even those who have had an attitude with him. He just shrugs his shoulders and moves on. He is a total lounger boy who would rather cuddle with you, hang out in a doggie bed in your office or trot along after you throughout the house then ever to be left outside. He's a true house pet.
