Estimated Birthday August 7, 2004 Tasia's friend found this handsome little boy near a softball field in Albuquerque. Because she is such a Chihuahua lover he knew she would find a way to help him get his broken leg fixed and find him a new home. Tasia called us and asked if we could take him in but we were filled to the rafters with other rescue dogs. We told her we would take him in if she and her husband could offer him a place to live - 'foster him' - until we could place him. They said yes. Ben, one of our previous adopters, had planned to make a donation to support our rescue and I mentioned this fellows need for help. And so, we named him Ben's Shadow because he covered the majority of the cost to fix his leg. Completely healed and already in a foster-to-adopt home, Ben's Shadow is one of our great 'happy tails' stories. And, Tasia and her husband Jerome have taken in another of our little ones to foster until we find her forever home. ADOPTION FEE $250
