Beans was rescued from a kill shelter after his holding period was over and no one came looking for him. It is a good thing for him he came to Rescue because it was discovered he had a broken jaw at the time of his neuter and dental. The large molar was had a split that went into the jaw. That has been wired and repaired and he will have no problem in the future as a result. He did not make it apparent he was in any discomfort prior to the repair or after. He had no difficulty eating hard dog food before nor immediately following the surgery. He has a cute, playful personality as you can tell by the picture on the right. He weighs about 10 pounds and is a young adult--possibly 1 to 2 years old. His adoption fee of $150 will cover neuter, 3 year rabies vaccine, 3 year distemper/parvo vaccine, dental cleaning, heartworm test, and microchip. We do process the applications in the order that they are received. We cannot guarantee any particular dog will still be available by the time we get to your application. We cannot respond to each application or keep you updated as we go along. We do not consider a dog adopted until the process has been completed and a contract has been signed. As long as the dog is still listed, it is still available and we are processing applications. As soon as a dog is adopted, it is removed from the list. If you apply and your application is approved, we will contact you. If you decide not to wait or find another dog, please let us know so we can go on to another application.
