Birthday September 17, 2007
Goldilocks was surrendered by her owner because she (the owner) is in poor health. She has several other dogs but felt it would be best for “Goldie” to be placed with rescue. The owner has both the mother, a Chihuahua, and the father, a Pomeranian. The owner also knew that she had a heart murmur that she could not afford to have corrected. Our veterinarian thought at first that it might be operable and we were willing to try. However, he says that the problem is more than he is able to repair. He thinks she has a small hole between two chambers of her heart. She was spayed and bounced back in less than twelve hours. She runs like crazy and is one of the most affectionate and happy dogs you will ever meet. She is a wild and crazy child! How old will she live to be? We don’t know. We anticipate that it will be less than the 14 to 16 year norm for Chihuahuas. We just don’t know. But we do know that whatever life span she has her owner will be rewarded with the happiest kisses, and sweetest face, waggiest tail and a lifetime of delightful memories of this sweet child. Adopt this sweet baby and you will never regret it.
