This is precious Rosie and what a snuggle bunny and sweetheart she is. We like to call her a 'butterball Chihuahua because she could be mixed with Pug (so Pug-huahuaJ or Chug). She is 3 years old and weighs around 20 lbs. Rosie was left at a high kill animal shelter with a heartbreaking letter from her owner who could not keep her because she had lost her home. So she made the difficult decision to turn Rosie in and she was rescued at the last minute just before her time was ÂupÂ. She came into her current foster home a bit confused about her situation and won the hearts of everyone in a very short time. Having once been an Âonly dog Rosie is protective around strangers at first but quickly warms up once she knows they belong there and is doing very well working on her social skills. She loves attention and being around her people and is content to lie at your feet; however she is also very much a lap dog/couch potato, although at times she does show a bit of a playful side. There were two small grandchildren in her previous home and Rosie did just fine with them. She will do wonderfully in a quiet home where she can get lots of hugs and kisses. Rosie is low maintenance, being she is house trained, obedient and well behaved and she just wants to please her people. It very clearly shows on her face when she thinks she has disappointed anyone. Rosie does not like to be in a crate, preferring instead to lounge around on the couch or bed :). PLEASE-- will you consider making your home and family RosieÂs last move!'Pooches on the Move' is a cooperative of five great rescues in the Northeast Tennessee area that works hard to home dogs up into loving Pennsylvania and New England homes.
